Starting this Sunday on PBS last years season will be showing again like they did last year. I am so excited because I love this show and I love period pieces. I love the elegant clothes, the architecture, the pop and circumstance, all of it This is the story of a rich English family about the time of the first world war. This storyline is unique in that it tells the story of upper class upstairs and the lower class down stairs. Great show!

Sounds interesting but we don';t get these kinds of shows here on the islands. We do have a few shows here from the US and they are all redone to French for us here. You can see the wording is off but you get use to seeing this after awhile. At first when I arrived it drove me nuts to see the people talking and moving lips in English and French words coming out. Now after so much time I don't pay attention to this one at all anymore.

That is a shame This is a great show. You don't get the Public Broadcasting Station there? If not, you miss out on a lot of good programing. You can order the series. I don't think I would the language like you described it.

@celticeagle It is OK I can maybe download one or two to see if I would like it or not. I am so much into action and stuff like this.
