No! It is not magic. It is stupidity and laziness of mine. Haha! I know from the start that white to white, colored to colored and separate the reds! My inner voice tells me to segregate the new red polo shirt given by my oldest brother but the voice of laziness says that I can just throw it inside the washing machine, and it will not stain the other clothes. Laziness wins! Washing machine beeps.. Lo and behold.. brown cloths turned to pink! Haha! This is the second time. Argghhh! Well, next time, I will not buy or accept gifts that contains red clothes anymore. Haha!

Instead of not buying any red clothes in future, you could buy another (small) washing machine for washing red clothes.

@wiLLmaH Red clothes make you look more dashing and beautiful, so better buy a separate machine.

LOL I always separate colored clothes from white.. It just takes a few minutes. Or have two baskets, ones for white and one for colored like mom used to do.

I do always separate the whites to colored. I put the red shirts together with the colored ones. But it stained the light brown shorts of my husband and one of my underwear. hehe.

there are some reds that can stain the whites. yes, I think it is best to wash the whites ahead of the coloreds so there will be no mixture or technicolors of your clothes.

There are some clever products on the market called 'colour catchers' that can help with problems like this.

In Philippines too. People handwashes the clothes. But here in Singapore, you do not have enough space tohandwash those. And my husband is 6'0" and I am 5'1". Imagine how big his clothe are. It is too heavy and too tiring to wash it by hand.
