I need help deciding if this company is good or not.

Well it's about that time again this year. Next month in December Time Warner cable will once again raise my cable bill. Right now I am paying $137.00 a month just for standard cable and internet. I am thinking of switching to Direct TV. I am looking at the introduction package which is $29.99 right now, and after the contract period will be $39.99 a month. It comes with over 175 channels. And it is for 12 months. The cheaper package is $20, but it does not have a few channels that I want. So can anyone tell me if they have direct TV and if they like it, also with all the taxes added what does the final bill add up to? I need to decide today because i have been dragging my heels.

I onoyhave cable internet on time warn an d pay 55.98 permonth startedout a few years back at 36 then rose steadily. I do not have a TB of my own

Direct TV is good and a lot cheaper. They fix problems right away.

I talked to Direct TV and Dish ,they both want a credit or debit card. So i guess they are out. I don't feel comfortable letting them have access to that info. So maybe I can haggle with TWC to see if they can give me a better deal then what I have with them now.
