Our fourth Bay Area rain in a month!

I heard on the radio that most of the El Nino activity is supposed to occur between January and March, but as I look out my window, I see that it's raining outside. It's only a light misting, but the pavement is saturated. I'm excited, as we've had severe drought here in Northern California for several years. I'd bet that we've already had more rain over the past month than we had in October through December combined last year. Let's hope it continues.

We've been having a lot of Spring rain here in New Zealand. Everything is growing well here. I hope you get enough rain to make a difference.

Right now, it's still a nice, moderate rain. They were predicting less than an inch.

@TheHorse We just got out first snowfall here in northern Europe and the temps are falling and we're freezing. I'd rather have the rain.

@RasmaSandra I miss the snow. But when I live where it snows, I get tired of Winter after a couple of months.

I think of North Carolina as pretty lush. Do you have issues like flooding rivers and mudslides there?
