She said it

Sister finally said the D word to me last night. Mom had just had another negative session. A session of not acting like she knew that I was her youngest. I called Sister and told her we would indeed get Mom's belongings off the place in the Spring. Our place. Hubby and my place. Dunne Alba. Sister and her hubby and other family members were not allowed on our place. We'd get Mom moved without their trespassing on our sanctuary. She said the D word. Breathed some air into me. She acknowledges the dementia. Hubby and me are not alone in this sad whirlwind tornado.
