The name means "beautiful cat." She is a beautiful cat, but she's hard to photograph because she's black. When we got her she had been loved on, but hadn't had her nails clipped often. Now, it wasn't like we tried to clip them the day she came, but when we went to do it, she fought us. We both had scratches and she had bitten me. That was back in January 2007. So, today I trimmed Booboo's nails. He was just his normal, purring self while we did them. A little later Nef came up and I went to trim hers. She did struggle when the roomie turned her around so I could get to her nails. Then she started purring. And drooling. What a big change 8 years make!

Lovely kitty person. Each is so purrfect in their own way. Look at my photo- its small but you might be able to see Sonny James esquire in it.

He's a handsome fellow. Nef is also black, but a very sleek short haired girl.

@sallypup Nef is only about 10 pounds, but I'll sometimes have two cats on me... and even when the 8 pound Prissy lands on me, it might as well be 30! She'll jump off a chest by my bed.

@Rohvannyn - She's one of my "bed buddies", she often sleeps on top of me. She's one of those cats who paw for attention and if her nails are sharp they snag.

@ElicBxn Sonny James also snoozes right up against me or on top of me at night. 15 and a half pounds of Jamie. Ooof.
