I am so, so glad that the sun is shining this morning. Yesterday was such a gloomy day, it felt like nighttime almost all day long. The sun sure has a way to perk us up, doesn't it? This morning I am going to make a delicious vegetables soup, nothing like it for cold days. Do you make your soup?

That is one thing I am really going to enjoy about being in Florida, the near constant sun. It is very depressing here in the north when the sun isn't out.

The sun is shining here. The snow has stopped and the side street looks cleared off. We are going to wait until two pm and see what it is like than. We might go to Wal-Mart to see what they have.

I guess the stores won't be so crowded today, maybe people spent all their money yesterday.

It has been terrible here all day. I had to wait until gone 4 just to get out without getting soaked and by the time I got home it was pitch black.

Sorry to hear about your bad weather, it sure doesn't put one in a Christmas mood.

We seem to be living in opposite worlds weather-wise. It's rainy and grey today. I don't think I am up to making soup today, they will have to find other things to eat.

We eat a lot of different soups during the winter months and they are all homemade by my brother. He makes potato soup, broccoli and cheese soup, chicken noodle soup and chicken and dumplings. I make vegetable soup and taco soup.

We have had a lot of gloomy days this fall. That's what I like about the Christmas lights. I also light candles a lot this time of year.
