My brain ! Its leaking out of my head !

Wilted Flower

For almost a week i've been suffering from a cold with some mucus dripping out of my nostrils. I went ahead and started to refer to it as my brain leaking out of my skull. I'm getting tired of applying tissue to the drippings. What worse, is that I am incapable of blowing my nose. I could never learn that particular skill. Every time I attempted to blow my nose, my ears would stuff shut and leave me annoyed for the duration of my ears constipation. Every time I sneeze, it's become an adventure. I don't know if I will sneezing pure air, a light mist or a massive stream of a nasal gel like substance hanging out of my noses' oriface like a wilted flower swinging in a breeze. I find it interesting as to how it almost entirely goes away whenever im standing upright or doing things, but as soon as I sit or lie down, the brain matter starts to slowly make its way out. It has become very annoying! My runny nose is slowly drying out, but a slight cough has invaded me. . . but that's perhaps another possible discussion for later.

I think you have post-nasal drip. the nasal discharges are watery. when I have that, I take decongestants. if you blow your nose, please blow it gently. strong blowing can cause your ears to close, and you cannot hear momentarily. maybe you also have allergic rhinitis?

@Plethos you can put your index finger on the opening of one of your nares, then bring out air in that open nostril. Oh! I want to demonstrate to you but I cannot.

Oh, man, I hate it when that happens. Maybe a steamy shower will help.

I did see a story once about a guy with a continuously runny nose and it turned out that it actually was his brain fluid leaking out. Not to worry you or anything, but it can happen.
