Fire trucks screamed by us

Last night as we headed home, five fire trucks wailed their awful music past us. Crazy amount of fire trucks. We wondered what was going on? Tonight I found out: somewhere above our little hollow where our house sits, somewhere up past us. a family had a mobile home and several kenneled dogs. The humans were not home when the fire started. The firemen were able to save human belongings. The dogs perished. Innocent fur persons trapped. Our Sally is here on my lap. I hugged her tighter as I read this horribly sad news.

I'm hoping they have insurance to help them out, @sueznewz2.

@hatley We had not yet found out why there were so many fire trucks when my hubby made a nasty remark about our own dogs- he hates it that I insist they are in kennels when we are gone. Then to find out that dogs were trapped.
