How many chances does life give??

You must have heard the phrase 'life often doesn't give second chances'..
Do you think this is true?? I feel like till the time you are ready to work hard and challenge everything in your way then life will keep giving you chances after chances.. It is up to you how you cash them in...
What do you think people, have you ever come across a situation where you thought "if only I can get a second chance"??

I can speak only from my personal experience and as far as that goes, life keeps on giving you opportunities at different times which comes once and unless you grab it, you miss it altogether ! If this happens too many times, you end up being the loser ..

@Rationalwriter No never, like I said you get the opportunity once and then it is gone forever , something else comes up and if you dont utilise it, that too is gone ..

Life is life, sometimes you get more than one chance and other times you get one or no chances. We have no control but keep going at it.

Nice thought!!! Life is an unpredictable journey!! But still, is there anything that you think what you can redo in a better way if you get a second chance??

I am a good example of someone who has been given a second. I had a very bad accident a few years ago and here I am doing what I like to do in life.
