Thursday night football. Packers and Lions from Detroit. It was a very bad first half for the Packers down 20-0 at halftime. But ... Do not discount the Packers. We dominated the second half getting two touchdowns in the third quarter, bringing the score to 20-14. Then the Lions got a field goal making it 23-14. Fourth quarter. We got a touchdown bringing the score to 23-21. The play clock winds down and with no time left on the clock Detroit is penalized for face mask on Aaron Rodgers. They extend the game one play. I've heard of Hail Mary's but I've never seen one. I saw one tonight. When it looked like the Lions would win, and they were even beginning to celebrate, Aaron Rodgers throws a 61 yard pass into the end zone and it is caught by Richard Rodgers and the Lions lose 27-23. And I'm hoarse. I've turned off the television but it wouldn't surprise me if I turned it on to find they are still replaying that last play. It was phenomenal! The Pack is now 8-4.
