Bob and Kim hugged me! John Paul took my hand too!

This is the appreciation I get from my former students who are now health care providers like me. This morning, I assigned my 6 students to care for the 8 patients along the aisles. When I was assisting a student in assessing her patient, Bob and Kim arrived and they both hugged me.
My students were surprised so I told them, “They are graduates of our school, and now, they are promoted as Nurse(s) II. Bob said, “Mother Ingrid is my favorite CI”. Kim also said, “You will learn much from her”. Then John Paul came and took my hand, and placed my hand on his forehead (we term this ‘bless’). John Paul always does this even though he is hurrying up.
It is such a beautiful feeling when the students who are now professionals do look back and appreciate those who help them achieve their goals. Don’t you think so?

indeed, my dear! I hope they will be inspired with what the professional nurses tell them (students) about how they learn in the area with us their instructors.

its really nice feeling because as teacher or adviser you want to see their success and after it they respect you and say good thing about your advise its really nice thing, you also feel proud that your student now become professional and they said it happened just because of you then you also very happy and feel proud.

I am proud of my former students now my colleagues, my dear, even though sometimes I cannot recall their names anymore. I somehow recall students who are either good, or not good, or those bullies.

I treat my students like my own children, my friend. I am a mother to them when we are not in the area, but once we do our work, I may be the most strict CI they can have.

oh! Hahaha!
Nobody will get jealous, my friend. My EA knows that. I always know there is understanding between both of us.
Bob, Kim, and John Paul are all still in their early 20's.
