Typo or lack of knowledge?

I was checking out the Facebook page of the woman we bought this house from. We are not Facebook friends, but she has her settings so that anyone can see her photos, etc.
After you read the comments you might say, 'Well, she is just using text type shorthand." Hum, not really, because she uses full sentences and no short cut words. These are either typos or she really doesn't know ow to spell.
I saw photos of her three dogs and the comments went like this:
Comment: "I hope your little dogs don't run loose."
She replied: "No, they can't I had a chane link fence put up."
Her most recent photos were of a trip she took to Colorado, comments went like this:
Comment: "Did you drive to Colorado?"
She replied: "No, we flu."
Maybe it's just me, but I thought they were funny!

Seems to me these weren't typos. Loose, especially, I find to be a common error. The rest just sounded funny. Although I could say I did have an experience talking to this Aussie guy who did say he never had great education because he had some developmental disability as a kid. So when he got older, he maintained the family business and that's pretty much how he ended up successful despite his lack of education. It's funny 'cause he spelled the words exactly how an Aussie would speak it. I find that like the Brits, Aussies slur their R's, but ironically, they put final R's in words that don't normally. Example, Pasta(r), Pizza(r), Idea(r). And yeah, we chatted one day and he said, "What soht of pizar do you like?" Even his "yeah" he would spell "yer". I am not sure if he was doing that on purpose or no. But it was funny.

@AbbyGreenhill Oh indeed I secretly had fun reading the way he wrote the words but I was a bit more understanding because of his educational background. Some people do not take kindly our well-intended corrections as well. In my experience however, one lovely girl was pretty sport. She was ranting on facebook one day. She said, " I cannot PHANTOM the behaviour of such person." I couldn't help it. I had to write in the comments, "fathom". She just laughed and said thanks. I'm sure that embarrassed her a bit but I saved her from more embarrassment and I guess she realized that. Cheers to you Abby! Enjoy the rest of your week. :)

stuff like that I can't read! I am fine with typos, they happen, but consistent spellings like that make me feel dumber!

They shouldn't make you feel dumb, they should make the person who wrote it realize she is dumb.

@AbbyGreenhill apparently she doesn't notice, as she is spreading her dumb out there in the world all willy nilly!

No, I don't think she did it to be funny. I think that's how she thinks.

I am the world's worst speller and if it wasn't for spell check you would be laughing at my posts and comments. Even FB has a spell check so i would think she is trying to be funny. If not, then I feel sorry for her.

Spell check only finds words that are spelled wrong - flu and flew are both spelled correctly - just used wrong.

I don't think those were typos. Some people really can't spell properly and don't know the right way to use homonyms, (two words that sound the same but have different meanings).

You are right and it could just mean a little lack of education.

Yes I know that. I singled this one out since I'm living in her former home.

@AbbyGreenhill it is funny that she has such obvious spelling errors. I wonder if she was trying to be funny?

Since I met her on several occasions, she is't a 'funny' person. If she smiled once that was a lot...always a very serious, negative look and attitude.

"y" and "u" are near to each other do..maybe typo
