My Little Village

For the first time in years I got out the boxes of village pieces I collected over many years and decided to set up my Christmas Village out in the sun room.
I'd forgotten how many pieces I do have. There was even a third barn I didn't remember having. I must have gotten it as a gift at some point but never used it.
I know my sons, when they come home, will be tickled to see the village set up. Helping with it used to be one of their favorite holiday activities.
Do you have any special Christmas or other seasonal holiday traditions you do every year?

Your village looks wonderful and I love the way you have it laid out in the window. Many years ago I started collecting those village pieces but it got too much to put it out every year.

My husband has a ton of village pieces for his Lionel trains. We never set them up here yet, maybe next year but in the basement. I have village pieces that I don't even use any longer...can't give this stuff away.

I love your village. I collect Santa. I started when i carved them out of wood but I love my collection, most are hand made. and most are gifts.

Not to a large extent, but we used to have a nativity scene. The thing about those things are is that traditions can be great, beautiful and meaningful...but, I'm...kinda clumsy:)
