There's so much going on and it isn't always easy to deal with. Praying certainly helps and it works when one has to deal with difficult people. Going into that quiet room and meditating really helps generate some clarity. People shouldn't be draining but unfortunately a lot of people are. as we grow we learn to choose our battles. Sometimes it's just a waste of time trying to get them to understand but thank God "faith" exist and not everyone has it. For those who believe in "The Power of Prayer." Continue to do so because we're in some distressing times.

Prayer certainly does help in dealing with people, and sometimes its a lot better than reacting quickly to what a person says or does.

You're right. Prayer can help us get through so many things and help with dealing with people. The more we pray. The more we'll know how to deal with certain situations.

I dont believe in the man made god or man made religions. that being said i do see the benefit of quiet contemplation. Funnily enough I used to go to hereford cathedral or tewkesbury abbey when i wanted to really chill...both of which are christian places of worship. I didnt feel any god or anything it was just very quiet...I used to buy christmas presents from tewkesbury abbey shop. After reading a book called pillars of the earth when i was around 14 I started thinking what these thousand year old buildings really meant. They werent so much religious buildings they fed families...generations of families as they took many years to build. When i got my car at 18 i started visiting these buildings...weve gota few in the three counties of gloucestershire, herefordshire and worcestershire. I found them very peaceful.

Prayer always helps and God answers your prayer in strange ways sometimes.

Most battles are NOT worth fighting which is something you learn as you grow.
