Mike Glad you are ok and hope you have good insurance A good thing to have in a kitchen is a fire blanket that you could throw over the pot of burning oil. We had a similar fire when I was a kid and the smell does go in a few days or so.

Mike Talk to your mate. Ask him if the real reason he left is due to his tutor/guide. Sometimes people can't cope with the pressure...if it's genuinely an issue with the tutor then refer to your colleges' complaints procedure.

Mike @TishaMears have you ever looked at dropshipping?? I made some money there a few years ago. If you get it right it can be good. You do need to build your own site but it doesn't take that much of an investment and there are plenty of places to get some help.
