Jumping to Conclusions

Jumping to conclusion seems to be a normal habit of most people. Well, there are times we make the right conclusions but there are awkward moments when we suddenly blurted our judgements only to find out we are totally wrong. I came across to comments here about them jumping to wrong conclusion and sometimes it becomes a challenge how to deal with those assumptions in a subtle manner. Have you encountered such situations? @RasmaSandra You know, the problem is that too many only read the title and (may be) the last couple of lines. Only few take the time to read the full discussions.

@LadyDuck Personally I never seem to have much time but I come on the site to do things right so I settle myself into my chair knowing I am going to be here for awhile and I really read. In fact what I like is that there are things that amuse me, inform me and I also learn some new stuff.

I agree and you are correct that when that happens , we have to be nice in correcting what has been wrongfully concluded.

Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself.

You are looking great in the blue outfit. Yes, you are right that we all have a habit to jump to conclusion. Sometimes, we turn out to be wrong and sometimes, we turn out to be wrong. I try not to jump to conclusion quickly, I give it a thought, cross check the facts and verify the credentials and antecedents before making a view. I don't feel disheartened if my conclusion turn out to be wrong because we are human, therefore, we commit mistake. I believe that - till we commit mistake, we just cannot learn, so we should not feel disheartened by a wrong decision or conclusion.

maybe they do not wish to know the real truth about what happened.

I have also misunderstood what some were saying here and put my foot in my mouth and apologized for coming to the wrong conclusion. There have also been those that have said wrong information so had to straighten them out about it and tell them the right information. I have answered a post with the right information or have written a private post to the person.
