Solar Energy

Today in online market and electronic shops lots of solar lanterns and panels are available. It's good sign that prices are coming slowly down. If we can change our natural lights to renewable sources like solar , it is very good. We can definitely save our electricity bills.Wind and biomass are other emerging renewable sources of energy. I hope that in future man will invent the technique of storing or changing the lightening power for his long term power consumption.

Here , solar panels are so expensive . I wish its price would lower , because my father wants that , so that even after a storm where electricity would be out for many days , we will still have light and power through the solar panels.

@SIMPLYD We can hope that because when the first super computer comes it's size is as big to place in a big room. Today there are nano technology is running. So hope for the better one.

Solar energy is very good source to convert into electricity. We all need is solar panels, unlike the process of drilling of oils which leaves a very large carbon footprint in our earth.

If you add in the cost of solar panel, and divide by 20 years of usage, the cost saving is not that great. The oil price is very low now, and that means our utility cost is low, so electricity is not that expensive.

That's a point. But we have hydro electric units not by oil. I think in future we can rely upon these panels. self dependent energy is a good concept.

The issue with all these forms you have mentioned is that they are intermittent, whereas we need power - lots of it - 24/7. Prices might appear to be falling, but in reality, wages are dropping for those manufacturing them, while manufacturers costs are rising. All of those sources you mentioned have significant other drawbacks, the least of which is that they are too expensive to justify their tiny output ie, the ROI is very, very poor! Lightning power storage has been tried.... the result is that it's possible, but not worth the effort!

Sure and it is very good for places where electricity power not exists.
