Today in online market and electronic shops lots of solar lanterns and panels are available. It's good sign that prices are coming slowly down. If we can change our natural lights to renewable sources like solar , it is very good. We can definitely save our electricity bills.Wind and biomass are other emerging renewable sources of energy.
I hope that in future man will invent the technique of storing or changing the lightening power for his long term power consumption.

The issue with all these forms you have mentioned is that they are intermittent, whereas we need power - lots of it - 24/7. Prices might appear to be falling, but in reality, wages are dropping for those manufacturing them, while manufacturers costs are rising. All of those sources you mentioned have significant other drawbacks, the least of which is that they are too expensive to justify their tiny output ie, the ROI is very, very poor!
Lightning power storage has been tried.... the result is that it's possible, but not worth the effort!

I think solar energy is better during summer here. Now, there are typhoons visiting our country.
