I Was Surprised to Find Money in My Paypal, and I Did Decently Here Yesterday

I've had a hubpages account since before writing at bubblews, but I only have about nine active articles there. I should write more, but it would take me relearning it and I've not taken the time to do that as yet. About yearly, I make the necessary fifty dollars for cash-out. I barely go there anymore, and I don't have the time needed to travel about the site being social. Yet, I'm able to continue to make money on a regular basis. It's only yearly, yet it is Passive Income, which isn't available on many sites anymore. I'm sure if I did take time to make more articles I'd get payment at least two times per year or so. I know more people personally here though, so this is where I want to invest more of my time at present. I'll have more time I could go there more this winter, but I want to organize my house better. I have a room where I put paperwork to be filed and it's stacking up and not getting in the appropriate files. Until I get working at that task, it won't get done. I was surprised to find here on mylot that I made twenty cents yesterday even though I worked most of the day. That was a nice surprise and blessing. Up to now the most I've made is ten cents a day if that, or maybe fifteen cents once. For those of you that have extra time in your day, it may be worth your while to put together some articles for hubpages. It could take a few years but eventually you could reap the benefits of passive income there. You also may need to do a bit of social interaction there for people to be visiting your pages. Let me know if you do, I'll check it out when I can. In the mean time, we'll spend time getting to know one another here.

The amount accrued in a day can vary vastly and does not always appear to reflect the amount of interaction involved.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, your interaction will elicit some reciprocal response. Creating a discussion is not essential in order to earn, but it does improve the level of earnings.

@Asylum That's what I thought. Otherwise, why have the numbers by our names show the amount of comments/responses we've made, or at least that's how I see it.

I've noticed that too. Some here think that unless we write posts we won't make anything, but I really wonder whether that is true. I found one person that hasn't written anything yet even after four months. Maybe she isn't interested in making money, or maybe she makes something when people interact with the comments she leaves around the site. It would be nice if those that don't write much would say whether their bank increases anyway or not. It is weird that I can make that much in a day when I'm not around much, but more may visit me because of the interaction that I took part in from the day and days before then.

That was a nice surprise. I write some short pieces for Zemandi. They are requested by clients. I am paid 50 cents per hundred words and that is the end of it. It isn't hard to make $20 per week. If you have $20 in your bank; they pay that out every Monday. For now, I prefer that no further action is required by me and I don't have to think about what to write either; it's an assignment. I guess mystery shop reports have given me lots of practice for that type of writing. I know I can't find time to be social on two sites.

Neither can I find time to be social in two places per day or week. That's why I get surprised when I get money from HP because I only go to check out my earnings and not much else. Therefore, you don't have to be social there, or maybe just in the beginning, but eventually, I'm guessing the articles are found in search engines and such to get hits on them still.

That's really good! I am not a professional writer, so I always prefer to spend time in sites like mylot, or previously Bubblews. I haven't take note on how much I have earned in mylot so far, I just check in here whenever possible. It's really good to be able to earn some passive income.

When I started at bubblews, I'd been writing at hubpages already for three months. I reached pay out within a short amount of time after starting with bubblews, so I set up a spreadsheet to see at a glance the difference between the two each day. Eventually, I quit comparing the two, but I've always taken time to write down the beginning amount on most days and the ending amount.

I joined HubPages a while ago but never invested any time in the site. The idea of passive earning sounds great though.

It may take a bit of investing of time on the site to get some readers in the beginning, I don't really know. All I gave it was about three months or so. If I took time to do more there, I'm sure I could make payout a bit more often than I am currently.

@MarshaMusselman I wish I could sit down and devote time to sites such as myLot and PP. I would probably make quite a bit more cash each month if I did.

@Shellyann36 Hubpages is a bit different than both mylot and pp as you may make something after a time even if/when you're not there much later on. Whereas with both mylot and pp, the bank comes to a standstill when we're not about for a very long time. I have found that I've brought in some pennies even some days that I'm away, here, but it wouldn't continue if I stayed away, and it's not the same each day.

I have a Hubpage account and I am also on Persona Paper, but I am unable to follow several sites. For the moment I enjoy to be here.

@MarshaMusselman I opened the account thinking to move all my 250 Squidoo lenses there, then I decided to do nothing. I have never used my Hubpages account.

@LadyDuck Ahh, I had some things on squidoo, but not worth moving anywhere, and I don't remember whether I even saved any of those. I'm not sure that I knew you had a squidoo account, course by the time I would have found out, I already left the site, so I wouldn't be able to visit you there anyway.

I don't work with more than one site at a time either, Anna. But have you not made anything on hubpages sincy you started an account there, or maybe you don't have many articles or any at all?

I've never written on HubPages. The idea of passive income is attractive, but I just don't have the time to get involved in a new site.

Plus most sites take time to learn and hubpages is no different. There are different modules where you can include related links and such, and when links are eliminated you have to fix the broken ones which all takes time. If I did't already have articles written there before joining bubblews, I may never have started either, but I began there three months before finding bubblews. Hubpages isn't solely a social media site as it pays for views from the www too.

Neither do I at this time in my life. I began at Hubpages three months before finding bubblews. After that first year, I've not done anything with my articles or interaction there, yet I' continue to make passive income. It's not much, but nice to see just the same.

I don't know why I never seem to find it interesting there since I have heard it takes lots of time to be fruitful.

Do you have an account there already? I don't know how much time it usually takes to get results. I think the more articles you post there the better. I was only active there for about three months in 2013, and it's only been the last two years when I've made at least fifty dollars per year without doing anything to help it along.

Like Anna I started a Hub account after writing so much on Squidoo. It remains dormant. I found Bubblews and the short learning curve had its appeal!

That's why I left hubpages to write sole for bubblews after just three months there, but I already had several articles posted so kept them on the site. If I ever have more time, I'll probably work on getting some more up so that I can make more than I am currently.

I don't have time for any other site, one keeps me busy. When I checked on my paypal when i joined this site I was amazed I had over 50 bucks there left over from the B place. I am leaving it there to grow so I can pay for my camping trip next summer or for charity. I have a niece who runs in the the Iron man races and I support her when she does that.
