Do you feel guilty about wasting food at a buffet restaurant?

Today after church my wife and I went to one of those all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants. When you go to one of those places, you naturally want to sample different dishes. So I ended up with some things on my plate that I thoroughly enjoyed, and others that I didn't really care for.
Usually the rule at such places is that you can eat as much as you want while you are there, but you can't take anything away with you. That is, of course, to protect against people loading up with enough food to last for the next week. It makes sense.
But the result is that when you have food on your plate that you don't like, or have no room left in your stomach to eat, there is no alternative to simply throwing it in the trash. That's what happened to me today. In fact, I noticed that at our table there was quite a bit of perfectly good food that would be thrown out.
I had no intention of putting more on my plate than I could eat, but that's the way it turned out. And I feel guilty about it.

I wouldn't feel guilty about it. The restaurant must expect that not everyone will like everything.
