Disney!

So, all day, me and my 2 year old have been watching Disney films, don't get me wrong, I love Disney films, but there's only so many times you can watch one film over and over and over again before it starts to grate on you! If I have to hear "Reach for the sky" one more time today I'm taking the fuse out of the tv! Haha!!

im not a fan of the current/recent disney films at all. there seems to be too much music with no substance. at least the old style had more story to watch inbetween songs.

I prefer the classics, Snow White, Cinderella, Dumbo etc etc :-)

I think some kids can really watch the same movies over and over again. I have seen the children my mother-in-law was babysitting kept watching the same Disney films for many times. I like watching Disney movies but not too many times. Perhaps you can let your child watch the movie on her own, and you do your other work beside her?

@Ggsmummy I guess young child still needs very frequent attention from mothers. I can imagine you might already can tell many Disney stories from the beginning to the end.

I did some ironing and dusting while she was watching it, was tempted to put my headphones in but she shouts me every 2 minutes and gets grumpy if I don't answer her lol

Oh, I hear ya. We wore out several VHS of Disney films. They may last longer now on DVDs. I was just watching a documentary last night about how Snow White almost didn't happen. First animation was quite a deal.

I will see the new Star Wars on Thursday - that's made by Disney. My favourites are Fantasia and The Jungle Book
