What's your favorite holiday memory?

I'm interested in hearing from anybody who has a holiday memory. I don't mind the holiday, be it Pagan, Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto, or any of the other traditions adorning this blue marble of hours. I'll start: I have a lot of favorite memories but an especially fun one was when my partner and I decided to cut a Solstice Tree. We went to the neighbor's yard and she had a bunch of four or five year old firs that needed to be moved out. So we cut one, brought it home, and then I folded a whole bunch of paper cranes to decorate it with, and strung lights. The cranes were all different colors, even silver and gold. It looked really, really cool. Your turn!
