How do we, or can we, ever give up all that's holding us back?

Only love can bring us our wings!

Love each thing, and that thing cannot hold you back then. How do you do this? Love that what seemingly hurts you. This is the one great secret elixir of life. God’s living water, which is his love flowing in you must be allowed to both leave you, and to also refill itself in you at random by itself. When you allow love to have its way, God not only resides in you, but he also then resides in all that you do, because his love lives in you in a way that is alive and flowing, and it flows out from you in the very same way. It never has time to become stagnant, because you grab it with your mind, trying to dissect it with your thoughts, and so stopping it from flowing fully. Stop thinking about what you need, and let God’s love supply you with all you that need, automatically so. When you love unconditionally, all else is added back into your life then. This is as Jesus Christ once said, “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” This verse comes from the Christian bible gospel of Saint Matthew’s. It is from Chapter 6, verse 33.

Love is indeed the elixir especially loving without borders. If someone hurts us, they may have a reason but we can forgive and move on though may not be able to forget. Holding a grudge does the opposite - what a burden! siva

Yes thanks siva, Jesus Christ placed a lot of emphasis on both loving and forgiving other people too.

It is hard to give up all. But loving unconditionally means learning to let go things even you're hurting.

Yes, it is hard to give up the effects of being hurt, and the memories of it, to fully forgive another person, and to love them despite their actions

letting go of things even when it hurts it very hard for many to do. When God is with you it is easier to do.

I actually find it rather hard to forgive myself too, but I easily forgive others. I do this I think because I would like them to forgive me easily too.
