A Weed Is Just A Weed

This is a shot of a weed in my lawn. I hate weeds. But how can you hate something as beautiful as this. I am getting old and have forgotten what this weed is called, but if there is a flower then I don't consider it a weed.
Although I have to admit I don't care for those pesky Dandlions. They are much prettier when they have gone to seed.
And why a caption for my image? I never see that show up on my posts.

Funny thing, what is considered a weed in some areas is sold as a garden plant in nurseries elsewhere. People are strange.

That is pretty, and some weeds are good to eat and have many vitamins and minerals we need. I love dandelions, I use them in smoothies and other dishes. I am going to make my first dandelion coffee this year.

I have heard about dandelions. Dandelion coffee sounds really interesting. I wonder how it tastes?

@T_gray Sometimes a camera will slightly change the color of something. This is a pretty true color.

I think I may still have a straw flower in my garden. Have you ever seen a straw flower, one of the most hardy flowers I have ever seen.
