...that next month would have been Elvis Presley's 81st birthday? Holy Cow, that is hard to think about. I guess in my mind he will always be 30-ish.
When I met my current husband he promised me he would take me to Graceland, and he did. Unfortunately I missed seeing most of it. Why? Because I started crying the minute we got there and cried until we left. I still get the chills just thinking about that house and the memories it holds - good and bad ones.
Elvis, I wish you had stuck around a few years longer....

I didn't realize it would be his 81st that it was here again already. How time flies. I wonder what would be going on if he was still alive.

what a shame you can't remember your visit very well.... I visited Graceland years ago... and found it fascinating...
I'm surprised that he would have been 81 this year....
