Miss Philippines Not Miss Colombia Is The 2015 Miss Universe!

Host Steve Harvey must have said "lo siento" (sorry) to Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines, for announcing the wrong contestant as winner of the 2015 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant. According to him it was an honest mistake. But how could one make a mistake for a very simple thing?!
This beauty pageant will be remembered as very disappointing to Miss Colombia and not so exciting for Miss Philippines. When the 2014 Miss Universe was taking back the crown, I could even feel the disappointment of Miss Colombia. And when she was putting it on Miss Philippines' head, she was more surprised than excited. Mr. Harvey's mistake spoiled the most exciting night for these two ladies in particular and for all contestants in general.
Mr. Harvey, why? By the way, Mr. Harvey, it is not Miss Philippians but Miss Philippines. Without doubt, if the beauty pageant would have been hosted by two people, this mistake would have not happened! Right?

Yes, it was his first time to host a beauty pageant . . I think he had butterflies and bit exhausted.

Now I learned that Colombians are saying "they stole the crown of our beauty queen!" They should be ashamed to be saying that . . it was actually stolen from Miss Philippines . .

@Marcyaz , well, mistakes happen . . I hope the Beauty Pageant Organization will implement the best way to avoid this kind of mistakes in the future. As I said two heads are better than one.

I am sure that both women were upset. Having this kind of mistake made is right up there with someone ruining your wedding.

yes, and the organizers of the pageant should follow what we do here during awards night of any film festival, right? before the host reads the cue card as to who won, the card should be confirmed and verified by 2 of the staff, so no errors will be uttered by the host. Pia is a woman of grace and I appreciate her for being beautiful despite the pressure.

Wow! Filipinos rock! . . @ridingbet you know the only thing that Filipinos lack is a strategy of how to eliminate corrupt politicians and people in the government. If only it is not unconstitutional to line them up all by the wall and start shooting them - - that should be the best way to eliminate corrupt politicians and their sidekicks, who are making life of Filipinos miserable.
