Today is a very sad day for my husband and I. Our friend got into a collision and passed away yesterday. Two weeks ago his wife died and yesterday he joined her in Heaven. 
My husband doesn't know yet because hes at work, but he will be very sad when he hears about it later today.
They did have children that they left behind. Their children lost both parents 2 weeks apart. Please keep their children, family and friends in your prayers.
Heaven gained another angel but the Earth lost two wonderful souls in a very short amount of time.
Also, please keep the other driver in your prayers as she is in critical condition in the hospital.
You never know when it will be your time or a loved ones time to leave this Earth. Don't put things off for tomorrow, make sure you let your loved ones know you love them. I talked with our friend 2 days ago...he is gone now.

My condolence to you and their children for loosing them. I do agree that time does go by and you never know when your life going to end. I bet they had a great life before it, i hope they are home in the hands of the lord.

@marlina It is very sad. They are teenagers and thank God they do have other family members that can take care of them. A few days before Christmas is an especially hard time.

@LovingMyBabies that is awful. How old were the kids left behind? You are right, we never know when anyone's time including own is up.

@HanVanMeegerin The children are teenagers. Sometimes we feel like life will last forever, until we lose someone close to us that we love and care about.

@sugartoes Yeah it happened so fast. =( They are still investigating the accident but it sounds like he was making a u turn and was hit as he did that. They haven't said who was at fault or anything yet. Thank you for the prayers.

This is so sad. I'm thinking about the children. They lost both parents and that has t be rough. I pray for the children, family, and friends. That's not easy to deal with. Wow! We never know what tomorrow holds and that's why we should embrace today.

I am so sorry to hear this. I know his children will be so torn apart after this. I hope that you will be there when they arrive. I know the holiday season will be so hard on them this year. I hope all is well and again it is so sad to hear this. I am so sorry.
