It is ‘mission impossible’

That is my ringtone- Mission Impossible. Why? It is because it has a loud tune and tone that I should hear wherever I am in the house. Sometimes I get surprised when the tone ‘shouts out’. But I personalized some of the ringtones to my contacts. My son’s alert tone and ringtone is a female saying ‘I LOVE YOU’. I also assigned an alert tone of ‘Super Mario brothers’ to somebody dear to my heart. The ringtone is ‘the sweetest tone ever’ which is a soothing melody in chimes. Mission Impossible is for all my contacts, but I have just 59 so, the mission is possible anyway! Have you personalized your message alert tones and ringtones to a particular contact in your mobile phone?

I have no use for the ring tones for I have no cell phone. If I had one I would use The Twilight Zone theme.

my son's message alert tone is "The Exorcist". He did not know it until I told him it is. He said it is just a ringtone, and still continues to use it.

it is a fun idea. So every time my phone sends out an alert tone, I know it right away, who the message comes from. the customized alert tone is "It's your phone speaking, you have a new message" while my ringtone is Mission Impossible.

In the past I liked to personalized the ringtones to different people. Such as when my boss called me, it would be "don't pick up" But I don't do it any more. I just use the default ringtones. As to the ringtone Mission Impossible, that's cool!

@ridingbet Mine is different: Don't pick up the phone, don't pick up the phone, I just don't pick up your phone. And make you angry, make angry and I just don't pick up your phone

I had the ringtone too, which says "Don't answer the phone. Even if it's me calling, don't answer the phone, okay? there's a bug in your phone so don't answer it okay?"

it is fun really. I can even put an alert tone from the songs I downloaded to my phone, like the theme song of Armageddon.

the Nokia phone has its own distinct ringtone, and I like that too. I think all mobile phone have their signature alert tones.

I only personalized the ring tones for certain people, my family members and business partner, as those are important calls to me. It can be fun but tiring to personalize the ring tones. Enjoy playing with your new cell phone!

thank you! My IPhone has different ringtones too, but all messages have the tri-tone sound.

why don't you try it? if you hear the message alert tone or the ringing tone for calls that you assign to a friend, for sure you will know it is she/he who is at the other end of the line

So creative. I just have a regular ringtone for everything I am kind of technologically challenged

it challenges our brains to as to who is messaging us when we hear the ringtone assigned to him/her."Is it_ _ _? or is it _ _ _?"
