The day life returned to some semblance of the ordinary after the Christmas excesses of the last few days. Job hunting, day to day living, finding out that my long troubled cracked-screen tablet devise was finally totally dead, (I’m amazed it lasted this long) such was my day.
Friends of the family popped by briefly to visit my mum, presenting her with a lovely orchid flower for Christmas. It was nice to see them for the first and probably the only time this year.

yes, @jaboUK I mainly use the laptop anyway. The tablet was handy outside of home and I will get a new one soon.

@arthurchappell I've never had a tablet, but the only time I use mine outside home is when I'm on holiday. I take the laptop then.
