Smacking myself on the head

Almost wrote smacking myself on the back. Reality: I have a very bad back. Can't smack that. Its done. I got hubby to work within the 'inclement weather' fifteen minutes late arena. Our road felt creepy so I let the car practically coast at five miles an hour. Even the main road felt wonkers. I sped up to thirty and held the speed to that instead of attempting to go for the 55 miles an hour limit. No way. I think the temps are up to 28 or 29. I am going back into town to get hubby early so that one way the drive will be in daylight. I bought groceries and chicken chow and de-icer while I was out and about. I am not feeling triumphant as much as tired.

@amadeo You poor thing. We're getting less and less chance of snow but temps heading toward 7 more than 30 so hubby hopes everything will just stay clear and frozen and workable.

Driving tensed would make one very tired.

@marlina I agree. I can feel extra pain in my shoulders and hands from gripping the wheel.

I haven't been to Washington state in years. Saw my first snowfall there.
