I had 2 pairs in my head!

When I, my sister, and my brother went to a mall, I decided not to keep my shades and position it up on my head. It was my head band; I removed my head band because my head ached with my wet hair.
So when my sister wanted me to take selfie, I put on my reading glasses and took the shot. Seeing the outcome, I thought to myself, it is funny to have 2 pairs in my head. Immediately, I removed the Ray Ban and kept it in my bag, and maintained the reading glasses.
My brother when we arrived home asked me, my son, and my sister, where his reading glasses were. We all told him to look at the mirror, and there he saw his glasses on top of his head.
Do you hang your eyeglasses around your neck with a string, or do you just take it out of its case when you need to use them? I used to hang it but I removed it because when I have my duty, I have my ID, and my pen case hanging around my neck. That is 3 items around my neck!

I do not like to hang anything around my neck, or even headband over my head, I always think they make me feel headache. When I was working in office, we actually needed to carry our ID around, but I just always carry it in my hand, and leave it on the desk whenever I return to my seat.
I am wearing contact lens, as they make me feel more comfortable than wearing eyeglasses, and I do keep my eyeglasses in the case when I am not using them.

@ridingbet I guess some people are more comfortable with glasses.

I could not yet wear contact lens because my eyes might get hurt with the putting and the removing of the lens off my eyes.

I need to have them on at all times. Though now I have two pairs, one for the computer and one for regular wear. With the fact I am on the computer so much I sometimes forget to switch glasses and find myself going places with my computer glasses on instead of my regular glasses. It isn't immediately noticeable because the prescription is very close, but it is just a little blurry, which when I try to read something I realize I have the wrong pair on.

@ridingbet I had trifocals once and they messed with my eyes bad. I've since gone back to bifocals, and then there is the single vision computer glasses.

@just4him i think that is the term in your country- trifocals, but here it is progressive. I do not wish to have my glasses in trifocals although sometimes I lift my glasses to the lower lens to read the computer.

the eyeglasses I wear is the one in the picture. I have my old eyeglasses in my bed though, and I use that when I play CC soda and monster busters. I think later, the double vision (doble vista) spectacles will be phased off and the next will be the progressive, where the glasses will have for close-up, middle, and far.

if we hurry with the things we want to do, the tendency is we forget the previous things we should do, and focus our minds on the present.

some women here wear their glasses/shades on top of their heads and it makes them of high profile personalities. I also would comment that they have eyes on top of their head.

I usually keep my eyeglasses inside its case. Now, I don't have it. It's gone. Lol!
It's one of the things I was not able to find in the apartment where I used to stay.

I recall your first avatar in the sunken bubbling site; you wore eyeglasses and posed that snobbish look.

@brokenbee i went to the city proper this morning. sad to say, the glass case was dropped off inside the tricycle where I rode going home at 11AM. I am sad; I even printed my name in the inside of the brown case; anyhow, we have many eyeglass case here at home.

I usually hang my glasses on the front of my shirt. I have often had them hanging there and then run all over the house looking for them. My memory is shot lol.

when I wear my glasses around my neck, I also forget where it is. it is because even though it is hanging around my neck, I still 'clip' it at the neck hole of my shirt.

@ridingbet I am just getting old, it's a fact I can't change. I am forgetful, also something I can't help. Just a fact of old age.

I think you should visit your ophthalmologist if there is a problem with your eyes, and also your optometrist if only to change your glasses.

even while your glasses are on your head? wow, like by big brother. my specs before, I hang it on my neck. when i removed it, I got the habit of finding my specs on my blouse until I conditioned myself that I am now keeping my glasses in its case.

I wear my glasses from when I get up in the morning to when I go to bed at night. When I need sunglasses, I keep them mostly in the car, and they fit right over my glasses. If I wore them into the store or elsewhere, and needed to take them off, I'd put them into a pocket.
I've lost lots of sunglasses and once it was when they were on top of my head. Since that isn't normal for me, I'm sure they fell off in someone's yard.

putting my shades on top of my head is unusual for me. I have a pair with a string, and I keep the case in my bag. well, all my shades are hand-me-downs from my brother though, but I keep them safe.
