This will be a little before my teen years but my dad and mom had a friend whose dogs had puppies and the momma dog died.
My parents took one of the puppies and we fed it with an eye drooper for quite a while, it thrived and I was allowed to name it.
Mugsy was with us for a long time and we loved this dog a lot.
Now on to my teen years my brother had some neat friends and I dated some of them but it was nothing serious.
My first year of high school was in the school nearest to where I lived and it went fine but I had already made up my mind I wanted to go to the All Girls school where I could learn more and have better teachers because of smaller classes.
I did transfer there and met some really nice girls.
I also took some extra classes like one semester I took a sewing class where we learned how to lay out a dress pattern and then we made a dress.
Another semester I took a language class well you get the idea.
There were dances and such with the All Boys school across the street.
I took an archery class where I failed miserably but I did try as hard as I could.
The year I turned 16 my brother wanted to drive to Indiana and my parents allowed me to go with him as he was 20 then.
We arrived at the address of his friends and spent a few days there and we even went swimming while there it was a lot of fun and I felt so grown up.
Finally came my graduation day and my date showed up, we danced the night away.
Oh one other thing I was working at a hardward store in the summer and on weekends, sometimes during the week if I had days off from school.
Next part 4 will be about my moving and meeting someone.

Really enjoying your stories!
I think it was wise for you to go to an all girl school. Can get pretty distracting with boys around at that age.
