Kochi witness the trial run of Metro. This is a Golden moment in the history of Kochi. It is first Metro in Kerala. Hope that all works will complete with in four or five months and Metro would start its travel. Its a good thing that Kochi will get relief from its heavy traffic.

Metro is really a relief from the traffic congestion out on the road...and it's a faster and efficient way if you travel in that route too. Have a new metro life a few months later!

@shshiju It is important....having a metro rail service makes life so easier. I go to my college under 45 mins by metro, and by road it would have taken round about 2 hours taking the traffic into account.

In India there are metros in other main cities like Delhi, Bangalore etc. In kochi it is the begining stage.

Metro really is very convenient. but the metro here is so crowded. especially rush ours. we had to bunched together in the carriages.
