Another question from a new user!

Well I have another question for everyone: are certain topics here off limits, or considered unfavorable? Is there a list of subject areas being discussed on myLot?
The only link I was able to find is below:
but it doesn't seem to be organized into major topics (politics, cooking, gardening etc).
My my, there are so many different topics I could talk about, if I could talk about anything!!! Thanks for your answers!

You can talk about more or less anything.
The old site used to have set categories like you mentioned and i miss that.
Use the tagging system to find topics that interest you and spend time thinking about appropriate tags for your started discussions as that helps others with the same interest find them.
The guy below said no recipes but if you can make a discussion around a recipe then that's ok...just don't post a recipe with nothing else.
Even the jokes thing, you could post a joke but not JUST a joke, needs some discussion points around it if you get what i mean.
