I just cut 7 inches of my hair off! / myLot

I have been cutting and dying my own hair since middle school. Usually once a year I'll do a big cut because my hair grows so fast. Well I just cut off 7 inches and it's still touching my shoulders so it's safe to say my hair got really long. I must say it feels rather refreshing to cut that much off at once. What's the most you've ever cut off at once?

I have never cut that much off at once but over the course of a year my waist length hair kept getting shorter and shorter. It was well above my shoulders by the time I was done. And in that year it was almost every colour except black.

I've stopped dying my hair. I last dyed it a month ago with an attempt to even it out with the roots but I'm trying to cut back on dying it.

@Bellatricks Me too. m y Grandma always wanted to see my natural hair color. She never did before she passed, but now I don't want to color it in honor of her. I haven't colored my hair in over 5 years or so. I am not saying I never will. The greys are starting to come in

My hair is still a little "long" it's just that it's naturally curly so I only really see the length of it when I brush it all out.

A lot of hair in one go - being bald 7 millimetres is a lot to me let alone 7 inches

The most was probably about a foot!!!! That was when I had long hair I had been bleaching out, and it eventually got tired and started snapping off at the ends...LOL..so I gave up and just snipped it all off!! It was looking too frizzy anyway at that point.

Seven inches is a lot of hair. My hair doesn't grow very long and I find it bet to get frequent trims.
