He's not fifteen minutes late. He's forty five minutes early! / myLot

Schools opened two hours late today due to freezing fog and icy roads. I told hubby I could not promise to get him to work by 8 am. He said he did not care so long as he got to work by 9. I hate transitional weather. We landed- safely- at his work door at 8:13. He has fifteen minutes extra when there is inclement weather. We slid in right on time and even early if you look at it in a sideways manner.

I am sorry you are having so many icy days. I think that is interesting that schools open 2 hours late to accommodate that.

@paigea We have a large county here with many hills. Some of the working parents are not happy with the rules about inclement mornings.

@sallypup Here there are times when buses don't run, but the school still starts at the regular time. So parents can decide to take their children to school.

I remembered when i was in college, if i came late at class and professors asked me why am i late, i answered them, "I'm not late. You're just too early maam/sir" hahaha
