Happy Pay Day

Well today is the day... the day I pay the late mortgage with my husband's paycheck! Yippee! Now we grocery shop. (Not so yippee, but necessary)
And then, surprise! I got a notification from my lot/paypal of a payment! Hip! Hip! Hooray! I didn't know that they did it automatically. That's awesome.
I also was asked to cater this Saturday. So that will be some extra income coming in. And I might be catering one day next week as well. I'm so relieved to hear that I'm still being contacted sometimes.
Now what should I do with my big bucks? :-)

i have a couple target gift cards ($20 total) that i'm saving to buy something fun with... even though i got to target a couple times a week for necessities, i'm not going to use the cards for that boring stuff. :-)

I know, I was surprised to find an email that mylot had paid us. A nice kind of a surprise that is always welcomed, my second payday on the site.
You're doing well with your catering work. I hope that you continue to get calls from them as it sounds like you are enjoying it.

i hope that at some point it feels comfortable to me. i do it so infrequently that i always feel nervous. i don't like that

@jillybean1222 I can see you heading up the cooking end of it or running your own small bistro by the time your kids get older and you can devote more time to working out of the house.

Good for you! After working nearly a hundred hours in December, the big rush is over and my weekly hours will be far fewer. I was getting used to fairly large bi-weekly paychecks, but will be glad to get back to my routine as well.
