A Patch of Green on My Work Desk

I work in front of the computer for 8 hours at least. I used to wear prescription glasses, and if I'm not mistaken my vision the last time I have to wear a pair was 350-375 and I was nearsighted. I wore contacts most of the time because I am clumsy and the mere act of tucking my hair behind my ear can send my glasses flying off because I would knock them off.
I had lasik a couple of years ago and that is the best investment I have ever made. Now that my clear vision is back I make sure that I do not abuse my eyes anymore. Every few minutes, I would look away from my computer screen and close my eyes for a bit, then open them and look at objects with color like blue or preferably a green plant. That is why I have this little succulent beside my computer. I like having a live plant on my work place and I like how it soothes my eyes. I have this little guy here since October and I hope I can keep it healthy for a long time.

I used to work at a computer for 8 hrs a day when I worked and my eyes would need a rest frequently. I like your little green cactus (it is a cactus isn't it?) and I bet it helps to have him to look at to draw your eyes from the computer

I have a plant like this also on my desk. I bought the plant from Ikea!
