I Can't Put A Price on THIS Prize

I think I mentioned before that I have been following Howie Mandel's daughter, Jackelyn Schulz on her vlog "Life With Jackie". Howie Mandel periscopes a lot and he has been pushing people to subscribe to her vlog. It is a very fun vlog to watch. I have been watching others but I enjoy her's the most. Just before the New Year ended Howie got on periscope and pushed people to subscribe to the vlog on YouTube in an effort to get Jackie to 10,000 subscribers before year end. And she did it, live on periscope. As a result she decided to have some giveaways to her loyal subscribers. For 7 days she posted a picture on Instagram and the best caption won a prize/gift. I can't seem to get on Instagram so I couldn't participate but she had another giveaway going - when she tweeted "who wants to skype" you were to respond with your skype name. I have been trying all week. I kept her page open and was disappointed last night when she decided to do two today instead of doing one last night. I had writing group today and was afraid I'd miss it. Plus I had my hair nicely blow dried which I usually only do once a week. So I blow dried it again today. Well, shortly after I got home she made the call out. She knew I had been trying all week so next thing I knew my Skype was ringing. I was soooo not ready. I needed to move my computer out of the room as hubby was watching a movie. I had to walk and talk at the same time. And I think the lighting was bad. I was excited and nervous. Most exciting? Howie Mandel himself got in front of the computer and talked with me. We are both from Toronto and he commented on that. I told him where I live now and his daughter had never heard of it but Howie said he knew were it was. So tomorrow my conversation with Jackie and Howie Mandel will be on her vlog. After I got off I ran the conversation over in my head so many times I started to feel stupid. I sure hope she edits part of it out. So that's the highlight of my year... ten days in.
