ive not had a back injury that bad but my friends ex bf had a crushed disc and it got better eventually....just as long as you do what the docs say it should eventially get better...the back is a difficult thing when injured because until it hurts we dont realise how much we really need it for even simple tasks....maybe while you are online you can look up and see if there are any different ways to help heal that particular injury you have.....i feel for you tho...as i said ive not had it that bad but ive had SI joint issues which hurts when i walk cos its the pelvic region and lower back pain....it sux - wonder if acupuncture would help the pain at all... take care of yourself and hope you start getting better soon

i think people do not realise how much you hurt because its not visable, i have always been active and the last 6 months have been awful, just to sneeze is painful.then you are given pain relief by the doctor, but this sometimes leaves you spaced out,so you try not to take to many, but then the pain kicks back in so you start back on the pills again,i have used a tens machine on occasion, hope that things improve for you soon also thank you for taking the time to reply to this :)
