Going to the distance for tickets. / myLot

Most of you know that tonight will be the power ball lottery I do hope that someone will win to get over this.

Found this to be very interesting and was not aware of. Six states don't carry Power ball. In Hawaii and Alaska they need to cross an ocean or mountains to reach the lottery kiosk.In Nevada they have to drive across the desert and wait in lines that can stretch for hours. This I did not know.Lot of people are traveling for instance like Nevada to California.One person had to wait three hours to spend $20 for a lottery ticket. Religious beliefs has poised a barrier in Alabama,Mississippi and Utah. All of this is so weird as many are going the distance for tickets. Would you do this going to the distance for tickets.?

Not me, no. I don't bother with the lottery. Someone here in England just won £33million on our lottery. Good luck to them.

I live in Mississippi. We would have to drive over 2 hours to get to the nearest place that had tickets. My husband's schedule didn't give us an opportunity to go. I think that I would have to have more than one reason to go that far.
