Early Start to My Day

I needed to have the city inspector come out and check the new furnace put in by the county under the free furnace program as soon as it passed inspection from the program inspector. I made that call a couple days ago and the appointment to come out was 9 AM this morning.
What that meant to me was I needed to get some housework done, i.e. my kitchen. I was up at 5 AM to get the kitchen cleaned up. I had all the dishes done, the stove, table, and counter cleaned off and my son had the garbage out by five minutes to nine.
He arrived shortly after nine, the furnace passed inspection, I ate breakfast and now I am here knowing my kitchen looks great. Not perfect, but pretty darn good. Now I'm going to get some interaction done and maybe catch up with three days of notifications.
How is your day going? Thanks for reading.

I am sitting here looking at the posts people have made. Now I need to get my butt in gear and get the housework done. We have plans for the weekend and I can't wait to have some fun. Housework is not fun after you've done it every day, all day for work. UGH.

Well glad you got it all done before he showed up and your furnace passed inspection. Enjoy the rest of your day

Yes, I'm glad it's done as well, and still looks good the day after.

Yes it does and I managed to keep the kitchen clean all day.
