The Problem with some Pharmacies!

I been getting my meds from Walmart pharmacy for several years now and they sure do their share to mess up anything. One time they gave me some meds that were still in the original packs and I couldn't open them due to my arthritis, you know the kind where you have to press a button to pull the sheet out and then have to press the pill out. I asked them if they could take them out for me and put them in a medicine bottle. So they put on my records to take them out and put in container. Well my daughter picked my meds up one day for me and when she got home I noticed that perticular medication was in the original packing. I called them and raised holy hell with them. The pharmacist told me to bring it back and she will transfer them to a bottle. I did and when I got there she apologized and gave me a $10.00 gift card. Guess it was worth the hassle, lol. Well it is time to skedaddle outta here, enjoy me a cup of coffee and rest my eyes for a bit. BBL y'all.

I used to recceive my meds from Wal- Mart also but found when I moved the Lewsi pharmacy is in town and the costs is less than at Wal-Mart so now I have no problems and don't have to go 30 miles get my meds.

@gr8nana6 One problem is it would take me 30 minutes to get to the closet Walmart now and it is just easier for me to go down into town and get it there since you never know what the weather is like in the winter.

I use the one at walmart because it is easier for me, since I shop there on the 2nd of every month and that's when my meds get refilled. Good that you found a good pharmacy and also cheaper.

Things can go wrong at pharmacies. At least they did something about it.

I must say that I think that's excellent service to put things in a bottle for you (when they get it right), as it must take a while.

It is nice that they do it I agree, it just is a bother to drive back again and get it corrected. I can't have my kids come over every day to take my pills out I need to take.

That was nice of her to do that. Problems do arise and can be a nuisance for us.

If you got your Meds, and got them on time, most would say, don't complain. The gift card was a nice apology.

Yup I thought so too, since I had to waste more gas to have them correct the problem they should have caught on the computer.

I understand that, I just get aggravated when they don't do as they say they will.

My husband went to the pharmacy this morning and came back with something I'd never asked for but none of the tablets that I'd ordered. I called them and got a "We only dispense exactly what's on the prescription" until I pointed out I had it on the screen in front of me and she worked out that the other three tablets were still on the shelf waiting for me. Duh!

I've had to ask and ask again over and over to give me my meds in bottles that I can open, I think they finally got it. My pharmacy is Rexall., been there for years.
