We are avid campers. We love to camp but that doesn't mean that we like to rough it.
We camp in a camper surrounded by some of our favorite luxuries.
We typically bring along a Ronco Set It and Forget It rotisserie. Plus a crockpot.
Why? We like to have nice meals. We do barbeque but there is nothing like a pot roast or homemade rotisserie chicken when you are enjoying the greater outdoors.
We used to rough it but at our age, we figure we need to be able to enjoy ourselves and let the appliances do some of the cooking.
Do you rough it when you go camping or do you do as we do, surround yourself with the finer things in life?

My wife and I enjoy camping also, or as we now do it, RVing. The last two years we enjoyed our used popup very much. It was our first upgrade from tent camping. This spring we plan to purchase a hard shell camper with a few more amenities.
As a writer, my office needs to go with me everywhere I do, to having someplace to sit and write is a must. I could do it in the popup, but am looking forward to having a more "civilized" space in which to work and create while on the road.
