@1hopefulman We haven't had any snow to really speak of so far this winter. About two inches a few days ago that melted off by that evening. Just enough that I drove to work carefully but home like normal... you know, foot to the floor and the fuzz buster on high and wide! LOL!
I hope you are staying warm and safe! Enjoy watching the snow fall!

Yeah, that must be nice, Sherry! You want to grab your shovel and meet me out front of my house? It wasn't a light skiff here! I could use some help shoveling my walks and my drive!
As a matter of fact, hon, we got 10 feet of snow. It is drifted to 15 feet in most places around here. You will have to shovel the street to reach my town as well as the sidewalks to reach my house! Since you are already going to be doing that, why don't I just wait here in my bed until you knock on the door.... No reason for both of us to be cold, wet and miserable out there! Uhm.... While you are shoveling out my driveway, would you mind bringing your scraper and getting the windows on my car scraped down, too?
Uhm... I think you missed that part of the street, when you cleared the rest of the streets, hon... The city council called... They ask me to see if you'd mind shoveling the rest of the streets in town, since you are doing such a beautiful job here at my house... I decided to take the liberty of telling them you'd be happy to do the whole town, since you were already here! Thank you, so very much, hon!
Hmmm... The Missouri State Roads Department just called.... They were wondering if you would mind finishing the intersection at I-44 and Junction ZZ? You apparently missed clearing that far corner of the intersection... Oh, they said a nice clean cut square corner is preferred?

Uhm... Pretty says her earnings have slumped, too... but she also says they normally do during this time of year! So, there is hope still burning brightly, hon!
As for the title to this discussion, yes, what you have still works very well... As a matter of fact, when I read it I didn't realize what I "read" and what it said were two different things! I read it correctly according to what you wanted it to say! LOL!

Miss you, too. Been trying to earn here, there and everywhere. Emphasis on TRYING, hope this post-holiday slump ends soon.
