Two-year-old boy missing in West Tennessee since Thursday

Noah Chamberlin, two, was on a hike with his grandmother and sister last Thursday. The last time the little boy was seen by them was about 1:30 pm.
Search teams and volunteers have been working night and day to find little Noah. It is now Monday and it's very cold and the area where he went missing is called 'treacherous' by the search teams.
No one is giving up hope, but that is a very long time for a toddler to be alone in the woods, hungry and cold and naturally scared. He is just a baby really, how is he surviving.
Some footprints were found and dogs were brought it, but so far nothing. You have to wonder why a grandmother would take a two-year-old on a hike through treacherous areas?
While prayers are being requested, they are also asking if anyone knows or sees anything to call the Chester County (Tennessee) Sheriff's Office or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.

Poor boy, hope he is found alive, that's quite a long time but let's just hope against hope and pray. Yeah the grandmother, i hate to think.... probably I've been watching too much C.I. Channel but don't you think she should be questioned or investigated? Sometimes there's more under than what's in the surface, I pity her too , if it was an honest lapse in her part, I hate to think about her conscience. Impossible the dogs can't sniff anything.

I am sure she is being checked out thoroughly. I don't think I'd take a 2 year old kid on a hike of any kind yet alone in a treacherous area. I hope they hear something today.

@sugartoes I will, as soon as I hear more. I don't know since she did have the girl with her also.

Grandma said she took her eyes off him for a few seconds...which obviously wasn't a good idea.

@AbbyGreenhill I have a feeling it was longer than a few seconds, but toddlers can jet off, I figured I'd have one of those toddler leashes or something myself

It's exactly what I thought, why did she take a two-year-old on a hike through treacherous areas? A few days ago the grandmother who left the toddler in a hot car, now this one who brings a little boy in a dangerous area, I wonder what those women have in their heads.

@AbbyGreenhill I would not hike either, you need to have the habit, this is dangerous also for adults.

They obviously don't have much in their heads. It's so hard to understand. I wouldn't hike in an area like that and I'm an adult.

I don't understand how that boy could get away from the grandmother to get lost in the first place. Don't people keep an eye on the little ones in dangerous places? I would never take my eyes of a child for one second. Makes ya wonder about her intentions. Prayer he will be found safe and sound.

She says she only looked away for a few seconds and he was gone.

I looked a little while ago and the only thing I could find is the grandmom said she only took her eye off him for a few seconds..dah, that's all it takes.

hope they find him ok - sounds a dangerous place for anyone to get lost let alone a baby

@AbbyGreenhill yes, certainly with a baby with them - what next, take a newborn swimming with sharks?

I know, walking on a path in a park or something would make more sense than where they walked.

Yes, it would be good if they do, but things are looking rather bleak.
