Sweet Potatoes!

Little ZJ had her first real solid foods today. I made her sweet potatoes and she LOVED them. Before today she had had a bite of mashed potatoes and some broccoli.
We're doing a mix of purees and baby lead weaning so tonight was sweet potato puree. Tomorrow will also be sweet potato puree and probably also some avocado chunks. She has liked everthing she's tried so far so I'm excited to see how her eating progresses.
Now.. if only we could get the sleep thing down

My first did not sleep well. I think I was too eager to respond. His sister, on the other hand, loved her own bed and did well. I know that eventually the getting up will pass, but it sure is exhausting for mom. Hang in there.

Thanks, she was a super sleeper her first 2 months... and now so much since then. This too shall pass and some day I'll miss the middle of the night cuddles.
