Kyra Sedgwick plays in this TNT Crime Drama as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, a Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief. She came from the South to head this department. She is a good interragator who solves cases and obtains confessions. She deals mostly with high profile murder cases. Now onto some family information she has been married to Kevin Bacon for 27 years and has 2 children a daughter Sosie and a son Travis.

@LadyDuck It was on TV for about 7 years here so no it is not new. She is a great actress and do you know about her husband who is a well now actor.

I used to watch The Closer when it was still playing. I started about season 3 or so and watched most episodes out of order while they were re-runs. Then I got caught up and watched the new ones till it went off. Now I watch the spin off Major Crimes.

I loved that show and was very upset when they took it off. I am now into the show that came after with all the original cast which is "Major Crimes"

I've never seen The Closer before but I do know Kyra Sedgwick but can't remember where I saw her. Maybe when I was flipping through the TV I saw her when The Closer was on here. I didn't know she was married to Kevin Bacon though so that is news for me. Is the show still going or just showing reruns?
