Do you like Windows 10?

Two days ago, I loaded Windows 10. I have not had it long enough to form an opinion. I have had a lot of trouble with my personal wifi since I changed and wonder if that is why. What do you think of Cortana? I think she might be brain dead.
I would like to know about problems you have with 10 and what is better about it.

I honestly liked XP
I don't interact with cortana
windows 10 works fine for me and it certainly works well on this laptop.
I don't use any features beyond the internet so probably i don't know enough to offer a decent opinion.

I also start to use Windows 10 in this few days so I need more time to get used to it. As I have used Windows XP before. I feel strange why I have to input the password of my Hotmail address so that I can login my Windows 10. What if one day the internet is out of service? Can I still login my computer? I don't need the password as my family can use my computer, too. It makes everything inconvenient. Besides it, so far it is OK.

You can change that, I believe in the settings. I didn't want my hotmail connected to signing in since this is is a family computer.

@akalinus I agree, if I could I would have gotten XP when I got my new computer.

I loved XP. It worked so they did away with it so we had to buy something else. There has never been a better system than XP. I also had to buy all new software because XP software was not compatible with 7. Those companies know how to work it.

I don't have any experience (or much knowledge about) Cortana, so i haven't used it. I got Windows 10 just a day or two after it was released (my computer friend called me brave, I call it getting away from windows 8 A.S.A.P.) The only issue I know of that windows 10 has a lot of problems was the parental control, but I refused to go back and now it is working. Of course the issue of my start menu disappearing and a funny screen that popped up a couple times, may or may not be a Windows 10 problem, but so far I really love it.

@Carmelanirel2 He does his stuff on the Internet but does not do the same things I do. He has a real job. I do other things besides MyLot, also. That is why I sometimes don't get here every day. I have a part-time job, too.

I called tech assistance today. She remotely updated my modem. She said she had to force it to accept some of the updates because it did not want to. Maybe it is time for a new modem. Tech coming Friday to check it out.
It is playing better except I can barely use Chrome. I have not used Edge yet. Would be interested in hearing what others have to say about Edge.

@BethieAnnie I called the phone company. I pay for their modem every month so if something is wrong with it, it is their problem too. They provide my internet also and I pay plenty.

@akalinus What tech assistant did you call, your internet provider, modem manufacturer or Windows. I am about to update to Windows 10. I would appreciate knowing who to call if I hit this issue. Thanks!

You don't have to change. I think the other browsers 7, 8, and 8.1 will be supported for a few more years. Windows 10 is only free for a limited time and then it will cost you.
I changed because I was having so many problems with 8.1 and was hoping 10 would work better.

@akalinus I thought that ten was pretty close to how eight worked that anyone with eight would learn ten that more easily. I've had seven and haven't converted yet, but my husband has had it since this past fall. It took him some adjusting and he had to ask questions of our computer person, but he's using it daily now.
I've not heard of cortana and I don't know what it is. I know it comes with it's own browser, edge or something.

@Auntylou IE stands for Internet Explorer which has been around since the beginning, I think. It was okay in its day but got unusable, at least for me. Even with the updates, there were so many people using it that I got bumped off multiple times a day, usually when I was in the middle of something.
