Taking my own stock photos

I just started creating my own stock photos for my blog and elsewhere. Today I was writing about materials for writing, so I set up a tablet computer, a couple books, and a fountain pen on top of a box, with some old white muslin for a backdrop. I think I'm going to have fun making my own themed photos - and maybe give myself a bit of an edge over some of the other bloggers. If nothing else, it's interesting creating the little compositions! Hopefully I'll learn something too, in the process.

I sell photos on a few stock photography sites. Might be another possibility for you to look into.

@Rohvannyn Here's a couple of helpful links to help you navigate the world of microstock..All require portfolios and some have more stringent requirements than others. I have images at Fotolia, Dreamstime, 123RF, BigStock, among others. http://www.dphotojournal.com/sell-photos-online/ (You may have to C&P one of the links since I am not sure myLot plays well with 2 links.)
An introduction to microstock, the easiest and fastest way for you to make money with photography.

It would be nice if you could actually get paid for your own photos as @LadeBoheme suggests
